- A patient who needs to drink plenty of fluids, refuses to drink the cold water and beverages that staff is offering.
- A new immigrant female is brought to the emergency room by her husband, ill with a respiratory illness. During the assessment, the nurse notices reddened linear marks on her back. What could have caused the marks?
